Keith qualified as a barrister in 1989, developed his specialist practice throughout the 1990's and joined Goodman Derick LLP in 1998 where he was Head of Film in the Media Department for over 20 years.

 

Avenue IP Chambers was established in 2020 with the aim of offering a cost-efficient and adaptive means of working with clients in the media industries. Keith also maintains a consultancy with the recently merged RWK Goodman LLP, thus enabling him to access multidisciplinary expertise across the firm’s various departments. Being a practicing barrister enables him to collaborate with a number of specialist solicitors thus providing him with access to their additional resources as and when the need arises.

Background

His first hand experience of having executive produced a number of feature films ‘from the ground up’ gives Keith an intimate knowledge and understanding of the financing and production processes involved. He has brought this not only to his practice but also to the teaching of international copyright and entertainment law, both in the UK and the US. 

 

Clients include the leading London based media bank, a well established and active film producer and financier, key talent, a leading author, and various documentary producers.
